VGM Services
Effective as of 1 July 2016, following the amendment of SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) that covers container weighing regulations, unless the shipper provides a Verified Gross Mass (VGM), a packaged container will not be allowed to ship.
To this end, we prepare our containers while carrying out accurate measurements with our weighbridge approved by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey.
Reefer Plate
Reefer Plate: At our container storage warehouse, we provide our containers with electricity via our 24/7 uninterrupted energy supplies.
Containers that are on hold for shipping are stored at our 50-container Reefer Plate warehouse connected to the uninterrupted energy systems eliminating the possibility of any spoilage.
Handling
Handling is the name for the entire process of such actions as relocating, stockpiling, organising, loading containers, and airing without spoiling the characteristics of the load (wares, goods, products) found at the bonded zone.
Handling processes must be carefully carried out by experts with the written approval of the load (ware - goods) owner. The experienced EkoPort staff offers handling services for your goods and loads.
